We hereby invite you to our conference of the Project CONEXIO –a cooperation project between the student unions of the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland and of the University of Juraj Dobrila, Pula.
The conference is going to be held from January 22, 2019 until January 23, 2019 at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland.
Our call for papers is calling for the submission of Bachelor’s theses, Master’s theses and PhD theses or other scientific papers dealing with the following topics (with europe connects):
- Economy
- Energy & Environment
- Social & Health
- IT & Digitalization
- Media & Communication
The submission deadline for an abstract (max 500 words, plus title and the author’s CV) is November 30, 2018. The abstract should be in English. Please note that the language of the conference is English, so all presentations have to be held in English. The presentation is limited to 10 minutes with an additional 10-minute-slot for discussions.

The conference motto is "Europe connects" and offers the possibility of cultural exchange. Furthermore, the aim of the conference is to give young researchers the possibility to get first experiences in presenting and defending their scientific work in an international context. You can look forward to insightful presentations, an expert panel discussion and an exciting evening networking program. Further information about the program and the panel discussion are going to be released in due time.
Make sure to register as soon as possible. The number of presentation slots is limited.
Participation is free of charge; for those who are selected to present transporta-tion and accommodation costs are covered by the students’ union of the Universi-ty of Applied Sciences Burgenland.
